What Inspires You?

“Opportunity inspires me. Whether it is the blank canvas of an empty lot or the lines of a building that has been neglected, the opportunity to create something new or reimagine and re-build is inspiring.

I also find inspiration in the ability to create opportunities for others. Whether it is creating opportunities for local businesses to grow or developing new programs to increase access to capital that allow entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality, I believe that every project is a chance to create new opportunities.

Finally, the people of Chicago never cease to inspire me. From a city that literally rose from the ashes to become one of the best cities in the world, Chicagoans bring a passion, a commitment, and a vision that inspire me every day.”
