City Academy is an independent, non-parochial, college preparatory elementary school, which exists to give families access to quality education. Located at Penrose and Kingshighway Boulevard, the school was constructed on three acres adjacent to the Mathews-Dickey Boys’ and Girls’ Club. The school previously operated out of the Mathews-Dickey facility. The state-of-the-art campus incorporates the physical and technical tools to promote the best in teaching and year-round learning. The new school was constructed of load bearing masonry block with brick veneer and a structural steel frame.
