Intended to support Midwest operations for a confidential client, this distribution center in Kansas City will be built by Clayco and designed by its subsidiary, Lamar Johnson Collaborative. Encompassing over 750,000 square feet, the facility is 40’ clear with material handling equipment including multi-level pick modules, conveyors, and racking.
Construction broke ground in early 2017 and was completed by mid-2018. The project includes 80,000 square feet of concrete mezzanine, 120,000 square feet of steel mezzanine, an 85,000-square-foot, DEA-controlled pharmaceutical storage area, and a 20,000-square-foot office space.
Lamar Johnson Collaborative will serve as the architect on the project.
