The Mid-Campus Center (MCC) consolidated the medical offices that were housed at the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health and the Washington University medical campus community.
Washington University School of Medicine and BJC HealthCare teamed with Clayco to build their new 12-story office building at the heart of the growing medical campus in the Central West End. The Mid-Campus Center (MCC) consolidated medical offices that were housed at the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health and the Washington University medical campus community.
The 517,000-square-foot building includes a full basement with below-grade parking, programming space and campus utility infrastructure. The remainder of the MCC includes WUSM and BJC Administrative office and collaboration space, the WUSM Dean Suite, a coffee shop, bookstore and extensions to the elevated walkway system that provides additional campus connectivity.
Clayco and the Washington University School of Medicine have collaborated on several past projects, including McKinley, The Environmental Health & Safety Building and The Washington University Genome Data Center Expansion project.
