Clayco Names Anu Russell Tharanath Vice President of Design & Engineering
April 14, 2025 – Dallas, TX – Clayco, a leading full-service, turnkey real estate, architecture, engineering, design-build, and construction firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anu Russell Tharanath, AIA, NCARB, LEED BD+C as vice president of design & engineering. Tharanath will play a key leadership role in expanding Clayco’s design and engineering capabilities in support of its growing portfolio, especially through its advanced technology business unit, Clayco Compute.

As vice president of design & engineering, Tharanath will focus on scaling the design and engineering group’s capabilities in alignment with Clayco’s integrated approach, bringing together design excellence, technical precision, and constructability. She will work in close partnership with Clayco Compute and other business units to advance innovation, elevate performance, and deliver buildable, cost-effective solutions tailored to the unique demands of mission critical environments.
Tharanath brings over 21 years of experience in mission-critical, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and manufacturing design. Prior to joining Clayco, she held leadership roles at Burns & McDonnell, where she helped grow the firm’s mission-critical architecture and engineering teams, focusing on data center design and delivery. Her background includes extensive work in EPC projects, traditional design, and international developments, positioning her well to lead Clayco Compute’s expansion.
