Sandra Marks Named Chair of 2025 Game On! Gala in Support of ALS Community
St. Louis, MO, October 16, 2025 — The ALS Association is proud to announce Sandra Marks as Chair of the 2025 Game On! Gala, to be held November 7, 2025 at The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Sandra’s husband, Cozy W. Marks III, died from ALS earlier this year, a loss that deepened her commitment to the cause. Her leadership of this year’s event is both a tribute to his memory and a reflection of her dedication to supporting families affected by the disease.
Marks is the Senior Vice President of Government and Community Affairs at Clayco, a leading design-build construction firm. Her decades of professional and civic leadership reflect both personal conviction and a strong commitment to advocacy. At Clayco, she has long championed the company’s mission to support the health and wellness of communities. Clayco’s partnership with the ALS Association aligns with its broader efforts to back initiatives addressing mental health, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and other diseases. This shared mission reinforces both Sandra’s personal dedication and Clayco’s corporate values, creating a powerful union in the fight against ALS.
“Serving as Chair for this year’s Game On! Gala is an honor,” said Sandra Marks. “Cozy faced ALS with courage and resilience. I’m proud to carry that same spirit forward in the fight to support others and advance research toward a cure.”
The Game On! Gala raises critical funds to support ALS research, care services, and advocacy. The event brings together community members, corporate partners, and families impacted by ALS for an evening of fundraising and awareness.
“We are honored to have Sandra Marks chair the 2025 Game On! Gala,” said ALS Association President and CEO Calaneet Balas. “Sandra’s strength, passion, and unwavering commitment to making ALS livable and curing it, fueled by her personal journey, will elevate this event and inspire our entire community.”
