Clayco completed a three-story, 176,000-square-foot worldwide headquarters for Anixter Inc. in Prairie Glen Corporate Campus, a Catellus Development Corp. development in Glenview, Illinois. Wright Architects was the architect and interior designer for the project.

Clayco completed construction of the shell of the $10 million facility, which features a precast concrete facade over a structural steel frame. Anixter made the move from its current headquarters in Skokie, Illinois, to the Glenview headquarters less than a year after Clayco broke ground.

The 92.3-acre Prairie Glen Corporate Campus, located on the site of the former Glenview Naval Air Station, is comprised of low- and mid-rise buildings in a well-landscaped setting. The campus includes over one million square feet of speculative and build-to-suit office, light industrial, distribution, and research and development facilities. The framework for the campus allows for flexibility in development and incorporates the 31-acre Air Station Prairie, a natural amenity for the region.
