Clayco provided design-build services for this 300,000-square-foot relocation of Chevron’s Gulf of Mexico operations from New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina. Completed in just eight months, this relocation was crucial in maintaining business operations. Sustainable building features include raised access floor ventilation systems; very low-flow water closets, urinals and lavatories to reduce water usage; high-efficiency central plant heating and cooling systems; exterior sunshades to limit external glare; increased performance glass; and a covered, multi-story parking facility.
