CityPlace Six

This project incorporates two stories of glass curtainwall, a brick and glass exterior, large floor plates, a training center, multiple conference rooms and a deli kiosk.

Clayco provided design-build services for this 10-story, 237,000-square-foot Class A office building, which serves as the headquarters for Smurfit-Stone, a global paperboard and paper-based packaging company. Smurfit-Stone brought 300 jobs from Illinois and consolidated 200 jobs that were spread between Clayton and Chesterfield, Missouri. Smurfit-Stone occupies 80 percent of the facility over five floors.

Delivered in just 16 months, the project marked Clayco’s fifth collaboration with The Koman Group, one of St. Louis’ premier office and mixed-use developers. It incorporates two stories of glass curtainwall, a brick and glass exterior, large floor plates, a training center, multiple conference rooms and a deli/coffee kiosk. In addition to the office building, an 800-car parking garage sits adjacent to the building.
