Cutler Hammer Corporate Headquarters

1 2 / 2

The headquarters contains intensely programmed space, full kitchen and dining space, training facilities, a central computer room, and an array of corporate office and support facilities.

Clayco provided 140,000 square feet of tenant finish construction work for Cutler-Hammer’s corporate headquarters. Cutler-Hammer is the electrical component division of Eaton Corporation and is responsible for many items utilized in today’s buildings.

The headquarters contains intensely programmed space, full kitchen and dining facilities, training facilities, a central computer room, a fitness center, and an array of corporate office and support facilities. The building also features a central lobby with an interactive computer display system that monitors the building’s electrical system status. The project consisted of two central cores that contain the primary entry and most of the public and company amenities. The site planning was designed to allow for two future wings that would originate from this same central hub. Clayco maintained tight control of the budget while enabling innovative and creative design solutions throughout the project.

The exterior of the building is brick veneer with large areas of reflective blue glass, and the building is powered in emergency conditions by a backup diesel generator. Located on a 15-acre site in Cherrington Corporate Center in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, this three-story structure is a striking landmark near the main Pittsburgh Airport, with easy access from major thoroughfares.
