Pine View Pointe Office Building

This building was constructed of highly detailed and articulated load bearing, tilt-up concrete wall panels with a steel frame structure for the floors and roof.

Pine View Pointe’s speculative office building is located on a four-acre site, which presented the design team with the problem of maximizing square footage to be leased while providing the appropriate number of parking spaces. The solution reached was to elevate two floors of office space, above a grade level parking garage, and introduce a Class A, high finished lobby space on the lower level. This solution allowed Balke Properties to retain Metropolitan Life as a major tenant, occupying the first floor.

The building was constructed of highly detailed and articulated load bearing, tilt-up concrete wall panels with a steel frame structure for the floors and roof. The exterior facade consists of aluminum-punched windows and two large expansions of aluminum curtain wall systems that are shaded with decorative aluminum tube awnings. By utilizing tilt-up concrete, in conjunction with the detailing and use of glass, a striking office building with an attractive lease rate for perspective tenants was created.
