Clayco is proud to serve as Construction Manager for the first phase of this landmark data center campus in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Related Digital Cheyenne project represents a major new frontier in hyperscale infrastructure development in the Mountain West region.
The campus is being developed on 115 acres in the Cheyenne Business Parkway, with the first 36-acre parcel hosting a 184,000 SF facility delivering 88 MW of critical IT capacity. Long-term plans call for expansion up to 302 MW of IT load across multiple phases.
CoreWeave, a leading AI cloud / compute provider, is the anchor tenant via a lease for the first 88 MW, supporting AI compute, training, and inference workloads.
From an economic and community standpoint, Phase I is expected to generate more than $250 million in tax revenue over 15 years and create over 700 construction jobs plus ~40 permanent jobs in Cheyenne.
A key sustainability goal is to dramatically minimize water use: the design utilizes high-efficiency air-cooled chillers to reduce reliance on water for cooling, reserving water largely for domestic use.
