With its great, white dome glowing in the night sky, the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois is symbolic of the young superstars who perform under its unique roof. In the spring of 2017, Clayco completed a major renovation that replaced all the MEP systems within the facility. Additionally, the developer enhanced air conditioning systems as well as added new seating, entrances, concession areas and lounge spaces. Mindful of the Fighting Illini basketball schedule, Clayco was able to maintain playable conditions for both the team and its spectators alike. Also installed was an extra tunnel leading to the court and state-of-the-art graphics and technology for the Big Ten school.
