Clayco, in a joint venture with TW Constructors, provided design-build services on a 210,000-square-foot corporate headquarters for World Wide Technology in west St. Louis County. Clayco/TW Constructors broke ground on the $65 million tower in December 2015, completing construction in 2017. The headquarters houses up to 1,000 World Wide Technology employees.

The six-story building features a unitized curtain wall with structurally glazed ceramic tile on the lower levels. The headquarters appears to rise out of the lake—which was drained and will later be refilled–with an exterior private patio on the north side overlooking the water. Clayco/TW Constructors is pursuing LEED Silver Certification for the project. LEED credits will include alternative transportation, the use of recycled content, 30 percent water use reduction, and a 14 percent increase in overall energy efficiency.

The project further includes a 763-car parking garage and outdoor concrete plaza. The headquarters is fully integrated into Westport Plaza, an existing entertainment and business district, as part of a larger revitalization effort.
