Mezzanines convert each residence space to two levels, accommodating two bedrooms and bathrooms directly above another two bedrooms and bathrooms on the floor below. Each residential suite contains laundry areas, a full kitchen and living room. The exterior skin of the building, starting from level five and continuing to the roof, consists of a prefabricated second metal panel wall system with concrete bands and window infill units. The lower four levels consist of a prefabricated second metal wall system with curtainwall infill and concrete bands. The 300,000-square-foot housing facility received a LEED Gold Certification because of its energy conservation, environmentally friendly material purchasing and recycling, and a ride-share program.
