Developed by Hunt Midwest, this 1,500,000-square-foot distribution center is in Kansas City, Missouri. This distribution center is a fully integrated effort, including Clayco, Concrete Strategies, Consolidated Distribution Company (CDC), and LJC.

This large facility is set to leverage advanced storage automation and solar energy to boost Ace Hardware’s distribution network throughout the U.S. It will include rooftop solar panels and EV charging stations, reflecting a commitment to eco-friendly practices. LJC worked closely with Ace Hardware’s engineering team to fine-tune their prototype Retail Support Center design, which was rolled out nationwide to enhance its distribution capabilities. Operational in 2025, the center generated 350+ jobs in Kansas City. Since its establishment in 1924, Ace Hardware has grown to operate over 5,000 stores globally.
