Clayco completed a 50-acre distribution and warehouse for Amscan, “The Party People.” The facility is used to sort, pack and ship the company’s selection of party products and is located in Chester Industrial Park in the Catskills Mountains.
The original facility includes 508,566 square feet of distribution and warehouse space and 18,000 square feet of office space. When the party kept growing, Clayco built a 360,000-square-foot expansion to the facility which features a dark gray reflective glass curtianwall system, a three-level mezzanine and an intricate sortation and conveyor system. The expansion increased Amscan’s warehouse capacity and represented Clayco’s 34th project in the metro New York City region.
