Clayco completed construction on a warehouse and office expansion for Avatar Corporation in southwest suburban Chicago. Avatar is a leader in the manufacturing of specialty release agents and lubricants for the food and drug industries. Built on a fast-track schedule, the interior finish project provided an additional 64,000 square feet of production, distribution and warehouse space, as well as 8,300 square feet of expanded office space. The facility was constructed of precast concrete and structural steel with a ballasted EPDM roofing system.
