CenterPointe Hospital Renovation

1 2 / 2

The expansion and renovation enables the hospital to accommodate a Geriatric Psychiatry program, an adult residential Chemical Dependency Unit, an electroconvulsive therapy lab, a gymnasium and recreational therapy area, renovated facilities for child/adolescent and adult acute psychiatric care services, and a public Urgent Care Center.

Clayco provided design-build services for a 77,000-square-foot expansion and renovation to CenterPointe Hospital. Major changes were made to the existing 49,000-square-foot hospital campus along with demolition of 14,000 square feet of outdated space, renovation of a 12,000-square-foot space, and creation of a new 65,000-square-foot space for medical staff and patients. The new low-rise building was constructed using tilt-up technology and features steel framing.

The expansion and renovation enables the hospital to accommodate a Geriatric Psychiatry program, an adult residential Chemical Dependency Unit, an electroconvulsive therapy lab, a gymnasium and recreational therapy area, renovated facilities for child/adolescent and adult acute psychiatric care services, a kitchen and dining room, and a public Urgent Care Center. The project also features a 1.5-story entrance and lobby, administrative and outpatient care facility, and an expanded parking area.

CenterPointe Hospital is a private psychiatric hospital serving the behavioral health needs of children, adolescents and adults in the metropolitan St. Louis area.
