Clayco was hired for the Cupples 9 renovation project in downtown St. Louis. This $13 million project is located on the corner of Spruce and 9th Street in the highly sought after area one block west of Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals

The Koman Group is the owner/developer of the project, and Space LLC provided the architectural services. Construction began in January 2012.  Space on the first floor is dedicated to retail stores and restaurants, with the remaining six floors designed for commercial use.

Originally constructed in 1894, the 118-year-old timber building underwent a major rehabilitation, which included:
