Dollar General Distribution Center – Nebraska

This facility is the sixth project Clayco has constructed for Dollar General.

This 1.1 million-square-foot cold storage and distribution facility is located in Blair, Nebraska. The construction is precast and steel with shrink-compensating floors. There will be a truck maintenance facility and dispatch facility as well as a guard house on site. The project will also include 86 acres of development work.

This 189-dock position facility is constructed with precast concrete insulated metal wall panels, utilizing conventional metal joist and deck that offers a 40’-0” clear height. Included in this facility is a 123,000-square-foot cold storage area for fresh food products. The cold storage area is comprised of a -20°F and -10°F freezer, 55°F cooler and 35°F cooler and dock. The warehouse is supported by an attached 15,000-square-foot administration and wellness building and outbuildings. The outbuildings consist of a fleet maintenance facility, diesel fueling island, dispatch building, fire protection pump house, and guardhouse for inbound and outbound traffic.
