Clayco and Lamar Johnson Collaborative completed a 305,000-square-foot distribution facility for the Fodale Group. The facility, completed in 5.5 months, is located in the I-94 Industrial Park in Detroit. This facility marked the second Brownfield project in Detroit for Clayco. Constructed of tilt-up concrete panels, the distribution facility features 30-foot clear-height ceilings, 114 overhead doors for truck distribution, cross-docks, a trainwell to accommodate rail transport and was built to accommodate a 200,000-square-foot expansion. Lamar Johnson Collaborative designed the facility, which houses TDS US and Exel, both major automotive suppliers to Daimler Chrysler.
