Located on a 51-acre site in Shreve Park, Frymaster’s 135,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for all of its non-fryer operations was completed by Clayco. To allow for further expansion, the facility features a “removable” rear wall that will enable Frymaster to expand up to 300,000 square feet.

The facility combines 29,000 square feet of office space over two levels with 124,000 square feet of single-level manufacturing space. The manufacturing zone is topped by 20-foot clear-height ceilings and is served by an overhead crane system, 10 dock doors and one internal truck well. The manufacturing facility is further equipped with air conditioning and centralized storage. The facility manufactures stainless steel cooking equipment and other apparatus for restaurants.

The exterior is constructed of architectural tilt-up concrete panels over a structural steel frame. The color scheme combines fields of white and gray with red accents. The main entrance is marked by a three-tiered cascade of punched windows, centered by a 25-foot-high glass curtainwall system that brightens the visitor lobby.
