Clayco teamed with Turner Canada to design-build a 333,500-square-foot facility that processes shipping and receiving for Gap stores and online orders for Canadian customers.

The distribution center is an addition to its established facility and allows the Gap to end its lease in a separate rented space. The new space allows the Gap to process and fill current orders for its Canadian-based stores as well as the growing number of online orders for Canadian customers.

Construction began in August 2015 and the project was complete in May of 2016. This timeline was expedited compared to the industry standard because as a result of Clayco’s fully integrated, lightning fast approach, which incorporates cutting-edge technology into its construction and design process. This approach allows Clayco to save time and money, while producing tailor-made buildings to meet clients’ individual needs that open on time, on budget, and ready for occupants.
