These large-scale projects included the construction of five new buildings and more than 4 million square feet of new commercial, industrial and retail space.

Clayco was selected as the design-builder of the 494-acre track Hanover Industrial Park. Hanover 9 is part of a larger economic development initiative by Missouri-based NorthPoint Development and includes the 172-acre Hanover Ridge Trade Center project, all within Northeast Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. This large-scale project includes the construction of five new buildings and more than 4 million square feet of new commercial, industrial and retail space on a former coal mine site.

“We are excited to partner with NorthPoint for the Hanover projects,” said Anthony Johnson, Vice President, Shareholder, Industrial Business Unit of Clayco. “NorthPoint’s vision has transformed a former mine site into one of the most prominent commercial real estate tracts in the U.S. Both Hanover 9 and Hanover Ridge Trade Center are outstanding additions to Pennsylvania’s growing warehouse and distribution network and we look forward to helping bring even more development to Northeast Pennsylvania with NorthPoint.”

“Partnering with Clayco on such a challenging group of projects like Hanover was the best choice,” said Eric Watts of NorthPoint. “Their sound construction practices and commitment to exceeding timelines have allowed Hanover 9 and Hanover Ridge Trade Center to become a reality for the Lehigh Valley.”

As construction entered its final phase, True Value, Spreetail.com, Patagonia Inc., Chewy.com and Adidas all announced their occupancy of the new Hanover 9 and Hanover Ridge Trade Center commercial and industrial parks.
