HonorHealth on Shea Parking Garage

This four-story garage project will feature 466 parking spaces and is planned to help resolve ongoing parking difficulties for users of the HonorHealth Labor and Delivery building.

The parking garage will be built with cast-in-place concrete. The initial construction will feature four floors, but a fifth is possible in a future expansion that could bring the total number of spaces to 592, according to the site plan notes.

The site design includes a bridge connecting the garage to the hospital on the second level. The bridge will give visitors and patients direct access to the lobby of the Labor and Delivery building to simplify arrivals and entry.

Vehicles will come into the site via a turn-in from 90th Street into an internal loop road connecting to the garage and providing direct access to the rest of the campus.

The design also features a pedestrian plaza between the garage and the existing medical center that will include café-style seating. The plaza is intended both as a gathering space for visitors and as a venue for community events.

The design firm is Lamar Johnson Collaborative. Landscape design is by collectiV Landscape Architects, and Dibble is the civil engineer.
