Clayco completed construction on a 238,000-square-foot campus for Magellan Health Services, the country’s leader in employee assistance programs and managed behavioral health care. Magellan, headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, expanded its National Service Center operations in St. Louis on a 21-acre site at 14100 Riverport Dr. in TriStar Business Communities’ Riverport Commons development. The new facility includes an east and south wing linked by a central, three-story circular structure with a two-story atrium in the entry.

As part of its expansion, Magellan also opened a 30,000-square-foot technical data center in Riverport Commons IV, bringing the company’s total St. Louis operations to approximately 268,000 square feet. Magellan previously had offices in five separate buildings in St. Louis but has moved all employees to the new facility.

The architectural cast-in-place construction features glass curtainwall and metal panel and granite cladding. The campus has state-of-the-art HVAC, electrical, communications and distribution systems.

Located on Interstate 70 along Missouri’s high-tech corridor, the campus offers a full-service cafeteria, an exercise facility with locker rooms, an open floor plan with a view of the campus from every work location, indirect lighting to reduce computer glare and an extensive outdoor patio area for employee activities.
