This project is an innovative solution that builds atop an existing parking garage, and adds much needed medical office space to a site-constrained campus.
The new Medical Office Building on the Missouri Baptist Hospital campus is used primarily as office space with physicians’ offices and an area for minor outpatient surgeries. It is built atop an existing five-level parking structure.
“This structure presented a challenge because we kept the garage open during the construction process,” said David Molampy, Senior Project Manager. “This involved working around traffic and keeping everyone around the construction area safe.”
The building is tied to an existing office building that also remained functional during the construction process.
