OG&E Metro Hardening

This project was an addition to OG&E’s existing mission critical facility. The project increased infrastructure and enhanced the physical structure to withstand an EF-5 tornado.

New 3,600-square-foot precast addition that houses two 1,000 amp utility power sources, one 600 KW generator, two 70 ton air cooled chillers and one 225kVA UPS (Owner kept using an existing UPS). Precast structure is designed to withstand an EF-5 tornado. Installed underslab chilled water piping from the new addition to the existing data room. Installed 4 new CRAC units on the existing data floor and removed existing overhead HVAC cooling system.
