Procter & Gamble – Gateway Commerce Center

The 806,400-square-foot facility is the home of P&G’s consolidated regional operations.

Clayco completed construction of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) $23 million distribution facility at Gateway Commerce Center. The 806,400-square-foot facility is the home of P&G’s consolidated regional operations.

The single-story building features gray tilt-up concrete wall panels ornamented with architectural reveals. The structure has 28-foot ceilings and includes approximately 10,000 square feet of office space.

TRiSTAR Business Communities developed the property for the global manufacturer of household and personal care items. It is one of the two largest distribution facilities in the metropolitan St. Louis area. Both the P&G distribution center and the Dial Corp. facility top 800,000 square feet, and both are located at Gateway Commerce Center, a 2,300-acre commercial/industrial development site at the intersection of Interstates 255 and 270 near Edwardsville, Illinois, about 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

In November 2001, Clayco received a Development Team of the Year Award from the St. Louis Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors for its work as general contractor at Gateway Commerce Center.
