Regional Distribution Facility

1 2 3 / 3

The structure is made out of pre-case concrete and structural steel with all concrete pavement and an EPDM roof.

Clayco provided construction management services for this 1.3 million-square-foot regional distribution facility for a Confidential Tenant, which manufactures and markets consumer and institutional products worldwide. This new distribution facility enabled the tenant to move out of its previous facility – which Clayco also built – and into a larger distribution facility with 184 loading dock positions. The structure is made out of pre-case concrete and structural steel with all concrete pavement and an EPDM roof. The project also entailed tenant improvement work, including office finishes, compressed air system and additional electrical and mechanical work for material handling equipment. Clayco also provided design-build services for the mechanical, electrical and fire protection components.

The project was delivered in 11 months and is located in the same commercial park as Solo Cup, a 1,550,000-square-foot regional distribution center, which Clayco also built.
