This new facility is projected to create up to 150 new jobs in the county, and continue double-digit growth for Rockwool in the United States.

In need of additional US Manufacturing capacity, Rockwool selected Clayco to design and build their new manufacturing plant in Ranson, West Virginia. This complex process plant is situated on 130 acres, and includes multiple buildings with varying conditions and infrastructure to support the manufacturing process and equipment.

Design and Engineering is led by Clayco subsidiary Lamar Johnson Collaborative, and includes turnkey Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Piping Systems. Electrical Systems include 35kV incoming service with customer metering and trend/analysis equipment, overhead cable tray distribution, LED lighting with dimming controls, and Fiber backbone and network throughout. Piping Systems include Chilled Water system, 600HP of compressed air capacity, desiccant system, industrial water, machine cooling, treated water, reuse water, hot water, and natural gas.

This jobsite in West Virginia had a special visitor one morning during Stretch and Flex. Santa and his elf visited to celebrate the crew reaching 380 Days Incident and Injury Free. To reward everyone for their dedication to safety, he came with a bag loaded with safety gifts. We could not be more proud of this Clayco team and their focus on safety!.
