The Cubes at Bedford Station

The 37.49-acre project includes access to six Class I rail carriers and will benefit from the new 65th Street and Harlem Avenue interchange.

The Cubes at Bedford Station is a ±400,000-square-foot rail-served development in Bedford Park. The 37-acre build-to-suit project is located at 6900 S. Central in Bedford Park and will benefit from the new interchange that is being rebuilt at 65th Street and Harlem Avenue to improve traffic flow and add an overpass for the rail crossing.

The Project has direct access to six Class I rail carriers and is located on the largest intermediate switching terminal railroad in the United States, The Belt Railway. Since 1882, The Belt Railways has been integral to railroad operations in the Chicago Gateway. The Belt has 28 miles of mainline route with more than 300 miles of switching tracks, allowing it to interchange with every railroad serving the Chicago rail hub.

The Village of Bedford Park is also built for business, boasting ±600 residents, 570+ businesses, and 12,000+ employees. The Village of Bedford Park is aggressively seeking new businesses and will offer competitive economic incentive packages, including TIF and Class 6B tax classifications.

Featuring state-of-the-art building specifications associated with CRG’s nationally recognized industrial brand, The Cubes, a facility will offer 40-foot clear heights, 73 trailer stalls, 30 exterior docks, drive-in doors, and 75 vehicle parking spaces. The project is expandable up to ±700,000 square feet. Additional tenant improvements will include newly built office space, dock locks, and battery-charging areas.

Like many Cubes-branded developments, The Cubes at Bedford Station is designed by CRG’s integrated partner and architecture firm, Lamar Johnson Collaborative, while its parent company, Clayco, serves as the general contractor.
