The Vue is a building that provides everything a homeowner desires in high-rise urban living. Beyond the unique home options, safety and security are paramount and the highest technology and security planning available is incorporated throughout the building.
Anchoring an underdeveloped two-acre urban site adjacent to Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, it was important to conceal the 675-car parking structure by locating retail and single-loaded residential floors facing the lake.
The project is a mixed-use, 36-story tower that consists of condominiums, retail space, a conference center, meeting rooms, a pool deck, tennis court, exercise facility, cyber cafe bar, and parking garage. A simple, rectangular floor plan with key plan changes in the exterior wall take advantage of preferred views while sculpting the building’s massing. Thin, six-inch concrete floors are expressed at the perimeter, with low-e, light-blue tinted floor-to-ceiling infill glass maximizing daylighting and views for the residents.
The lobby and amenity spaces incorporate terrazzo floors, classic furniture and include a commissioned art program with over 40 paintings.
