Clayco performed design-build of a 5,400-square-foot build-out project for BioGenerator at the Center of Research, Technology and Entrepreneurial Expertise (CORTEX) bioscience district. The configuration of the innovative space allows for a unique combination of private offices and experimentation space. Special areas were designated for the collaboration and exchange of ideas that are crucial in the creative and scientific success of very early stage proof-of-concept technologies. The pre-equipped Accelerator allows researchers and entrepreneurs to establish laboratory operations and initiate proof-of-concept studies without having to raise the capital required to purchase most equipment and rent laboratory space. The project features 13 individual offices and shared conference space, two chemistry labs, two biology labs and a 1,500-square-foot main shared lab.
