Clayco and Stonemont Financial Group were selected to develop, design and build Continental Aerospace Technologies’ new, state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing facility and headquarters on the Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama. The $75 million, 275,000-square-foot highly flexible and efficient manufacturing facility will be home to 450 employees who produce piston aircraft engines and other parts for the general aviation market. The new facility will consolidate all production operations into one building as opposed to the current ten and allow their team to control an efficient production process that drives lean concepts, continuous improvement and quality.
