Clayco and Stonemont Financial Group were selected to develop, design, and build Continental Aerospace Technologies’ state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing facility and headquarters on the Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama. The $75 million, 275,000-square-foot, highly flexible and efficient manufacturing facility is home to 450 employees who produce piston aircraft engines and other parts for the general aviation market. This facility consolidated all production operations into one building as opposed to the previous ten and allows their team to control an efficient production process that drives lean concepts, continuous improvement, and quality.
