O’Hare 21 – Runway 4R-22L Rehabilitation
This $21M project consists of pavement rehabilitation of Runway 4R-22L, portions of Taxiway Y and other airfield infrastructure in the southwest quadrant of the airfield. The project is located within the AOA (Airport Operations Area).
Scope Items Include: Replacement of in-pavement light fixtures | Installation of a new electrical duct bank | Electrical re-cabling | Removal of a taxiway connector | 3-inch milling and asphalt overlay of the runway/taxiway | Associated pavement grooving and paint markings.
